Rescheduling, Cancellations & Refunds: The Packed Picnic Company does not offer refunds once booked, but you can reschedule without penalty up to 48 hours in advance of your first scheduled event. If less than 48 hours notice, you'll have a picnic credit for the amount of the package selected, less any food, beverage, & floral charges (unless you are able to pick up your food, beverage, & floral items at the exact time and location already scheduled), for a future reservation up to one year from your first scheduled event. If you book and do not show for the event, The Packed Picnic Company has the right to retain the entire amount paid at checkout.
The Works Package: A booking date will be reserved by putting down a deposit of $150. After details are finalized, an invoice will be sent for remaining total to be paid in full 72 hours before booking date. If invoice is not paid in full 72 hours before event date, The Packed Picnic Company will cancel the event booking and retain the $150 that can be used toward a rescheduled future event.
Weather: In the event of inclement weather (rain, severe storms, severe temperatures, or catastrophic events) The Packed Picnic will change to an indoor picnic (within greater Milwaukee area) or if necessary reschedule. It is a preference that these decisions be made 48 hours before the event date. The Packed Picnic Company does not offer refunds for weather-related changes. If a picnic needs to be cancelled due to weather within 48 hours of the event, charcuterie boards can be delivered (within the greater Milwaukee area) and you'll have a picnic credit for the amount of the package selected for a future rescheduled date.
Picnic Location & Length: If you have chosen a public space for your picnic, The Packed Picnic Company will do our best to acquire that location. However, in public spaces we cannot guarantee availability or privacy, and may have to adjust the location. Once you have arrived at the picnic location, you are responsible for being present at the picnic set up for your package time until the return of The Packed Picnic Company employee. If it is necessary for you to leave the picnic set up early, you must contact the number provided to you at the picnic and allow for adequate time for an employee to return, based on picnic location. You may not move the picnic from the original location set up. If a public location is chosen, it falls to the picnic guests to adhere to the ordinances for that location. The Packed Picnic Company will not be liable for any repercussions for ordinance violations. Any fees required for entering specific locations will be responsibility of the booking contact.
Safety/Damage: The Packed Picnic Company takes the utmost care in cleaning and maintaining picnic items. Please only use these items in the manner in which they are intended. If irreparable damage occurs to our equipment, the contact for the booking will be notified and charged for replacement.
Heaters: Any of our heaters must stay where they are placed by The Packed Picnic Company. Caution must be used around and when adjusting temperature settings as the units can cause burns when operating. The Packed Picnic Company is not responsible for any injuries sustained from our heaters.
Pavilion Tent: The Pavilion Tent must stay where it is placed by The Packed Picnic Company and will not be available when there are strong winds in the forecast. Sharp items must be kept away from the walls of the tent and under no circumstances is open flame of any kind allowed in the tent. If any damages occur to the Pavilion Tent, the contact for the booking will be notified and charged for the replacement.
City Bonfires: City Bonfires must stay where they are placed by The Packed Picnic Company. They come with Safety Instructions that must be read and followed in their entirety. Caution must be used around and when using City Bonfires as they can cause burns when operating. The Packed Picnic Company is not responsible for any injuries or damages sustained when using City Bonfires. Local City and County Parks do not allow for fires outside of designated grilling/fire pits, liability falls to the picnic guests if you choose to add on the City Bonfire for a public location.
Food: All food items are supplied by partner businesses and are subject to availability. If a food item is unavailable for your picnic, you will be notified in advance and refunded the cost of that item. The Packed Picnic Company does not prepare any food items, but acts as a delivery person of such items from partner businesses. Please check our partner websites for allergy information and Covid-19 procedures.
Alcohol: The Packed Picnic Company does not provide any alcoholic beverages. You are free to bring your own but please adhere to park rules regarding alcohol carry-ins and consumption. The Packed Picnic Company is not liable for any repercussions for not adhering to park rules regarding alcohol.
Liability: The Packed Picnic Company is not responsible for any personal accidents and/or injury during a picnic. The booking contact and all other guests agree to hold The Packed Picnic Company harmless for any injuries or damages sustained preceding, during, and immediately following the picnic event.
